They are high activity dogs. Most puppies are activities though - they're not sleepy like cats. He's calmed down considerably since he's gotten older (he's asleep by 8pm every night and doesn't even want to wake up until about 9 am!).

ManuelaManuela@A Cultivated Nesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08282273791971364124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262362387203920093.post-38655063048708837222009-04-15T12:21:00.000-04:002009-04-15T12:21:00.000-04:00I hope everything works out we got a Jack Russell ...I hope everything works out we got a Jack Russell when the kids were small and they were so scared of her it was just not the right fit I hope you can find her a home with older kids or a single person goldens just need alot of one on one. Puppies can be very stressful even though are so cute! Goldens can be very active and hyper, from what I've heard. I had a German Shepherd for a few years, when I was a kid, and he finally was given to a family that had a farm because he was too much for us to handle.

I hope that you find a solution. It might be that you just need to train her and as Caesar Milan says - learn how to walk the dog.Kristin - The Goathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08856336718919208752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-262362387203920093.post-23133866592677869582009-04-14T09:46:00.000-04:002009-04-14T09:46:00.000-04:00You will have to do what is best for your family. ...You will have to do what is best for your family. Have you thought about or could you take her to a doggy obedience class? In my experience most puppies are just wild....it takes a while for them to learn and understand what is acceptable behavior.

I will pray that whatever you end up doing you will find peace in your heart with the decision.Darlenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11862436836886238624noreply@blogger.com
